2010-11-24 - Mega order for visualization entire IJsseldelta
The project IJsseldelta South was started by the Dutch province of Overijssel in autumn 2004 because of measures proposed by the government for more drainage capacity of the IJssel in response to climate change. Besides the construction of this bypass from the programme 'Ruimte voor de Rivier' there are many other ongoing developments in the southern area of the IJsseldelta. In support of communication of these plans to all stakeholders, the municipality of Kampen and the Province of Overijssel have commissioned 3D capacity to create a Virtual Scale Model of the entire area. To our knowledge this will be the largest Virtual Scale Model ever made in the Netherlands.
